This design was made especially for the 60th anniversary of Israel by the artist Menachem Lavee. It is a drawing, colored using digital techniques.

The number 60 is combined with a Magen-David, and divided to 6 parts, each represents one of the 6 decades of the state of Israel.
Each decade is dedicated to an idea that was in the center of our life at the time:
Bottom left : "Tekuma", building the foundation of the state with the symbols of Zion and Israel. The Menora is missing one flame – living 6 burning lights for the six million lives lost in the Holocust. There is also the image of the building where the state was announced in 1948.
Bottom middle : "A'lia", the immigration from "Gola".
Bottom right : Liberating and uniting Jerusalem.
Top right : war and memory – "Yizkor". The Yom-Kipor war, and 77's peace with Egypt.
Top middle : "Bnia" – Construction and development of social aspects in Israel – law, religion, culture and family life.
Top left : "Kidma" – progress and future. The science and high-tech industries, and the progress made in the space programs that contributes to the environmental issues in the Middle East.
